Top Gear Magazine’s Head of Car Testing, Ollie Marriage Visits Rodin Cars:

We were thrilled to host the Top Gear team at our state-of-the-art facility in Mount Lyford, New Zealand, where they experienced firsthand the innovation and engineering behind the Rodin FZERO. Their visit provided an opportunity to showcase the dedication and passion that drive our pursuit of creating the ultimate track car.

The FZERO represents a significant leap in automotive performance, designed without the constraints of road laws or racing regulations. Its bespoke 4.0-litre twin-turbo V10 engine, developed in collaboration with Neil Brown Engineering, delivers an astounding 986bhp, reaching a redline of 10,000rpm. When combined with our hybrid system, the total output soars to 1,160bhp, propelling the car to speeds exceeding 224mph.

During their visit, Top Gear delved into the meticulous craftsmanship of the FZERO’s carbon fibre composite chassis, which contributes to the vehicle’s remarkably low weight of just 698kg. They also explored the advanced aerodynamics that generate up to 4,000kg of downforce, ensuring unparalleled stability and handling at high speeds.

We are proud to share that the FZERO is not only a testament to cutting-edge technology but also to our commitment to exclusivity and performance. With only 27 units planned for production, each priced at £1.8 million, the FZERO offers a unique opportunity for discerning enthusiasts to own a piece of automotive history.

The Top Gear team’s insights and perspectives are invaluable as we continue to refine the FZERO. Their visit underscores the global interest in our mission to push the boundaries of what a track car can achieve.
