DRIVING  STYLE

A LEAGUE OF ITS OWN - LITERALLY.

“To paraphrase the great Ayrton Senna, who would recognise the

speed and driving style of the FZed: THIS is pure driving.”

Jesse Taylor | Editor of evo Australia magazine.

A CATEGORY ALL OF ITS OWN

Its launch heralds the introduction of an all-new category in high-performance driving; a segment dedicated to high-performance open-wheel racers. It delivers genuine speed, power, cornering grip and downforce, in a package designed for ease of use and longevity.

Long, lithe and visually exhilarating in its native black and gold, the Rodin FZed uses a carbon fibre composite chassis featuring an IndyCar-style tunnel, rather than the flat floors used in contemporary Grand Prix racing.  While seated, the driver’s eyeline is barely 23 inches from the tarmac. It's a drive-style usually reserved for a very select few of the world's very best drivers. But now accessible to those with the means and passion to do so.

RACE APPROVED

The Rodin FZed brings the thril of Grand Prix styled, open-wheel racing to market for enthusiast drivers and racers internationally, having been deemed a vehicle eligible for entry into European BOSS and NZ Formula Libre series.

Behind the wheel, the Rodin FZed is “alert, super-agile and willing to rotate, but it’s that seemingly bottomless sense of power that dominates the experience,” says Alex Inwood, editor of Wheels magazine, Australia. “It’s addictive in a way that no road car can match, with no plateauing or tapering off as the revs rise.”

“I’ve had some ridiculous experiences in my career, but this takes the cake,” said Jesse Taylor of Evo Australia. “Having blasted beyond 300km/h literally hundreds of times in the last two decades, I’m certainly not new to speed, but never before has acceleration seemed so vivid and all encompassing. Or so instant and never ending.”
