DRIVER TRAINING

THE PROGRAM

Piloting one of the unique Rodin Cars vehicles requires a level of skill that is usually reserved for those lucky enough to have had in-depth open wheel track car experience. To get the most out of the FZED or FZERO owners are invited to participate in the exclusively designed “Rodin Customer Driver Training Program” completed with our vastly experienced race trainer and driver, Mark Williamson.

The FZED Customer Driver Training Program incorporates a three-stage program, completed in the lead-up to the FZED test drive. Depending on individual experience levels, new buyers can be upskilled onsite through training delivered in a series of specialist track cars; from a McLaren 570s GT4, followed finally by an F3.

STEP ONE.

THE MCLAREN

Our driver training program is designed to get you prepared and up to speed to drive the Rodin FZED. The McLaren offers the perfect platform to learn our track layouts and get you comfortable. This allows our driving instructor the opportunity to assess your driving skill level and any areas for driving improvement.

STEP TWO.

FORMULA 3

It’s now time to put you in an open wheel race car our Formula 3. Driving the F3 will give you valuable experience in learning downforce and an increased cornering speed. Once our driving instructor is confident in your driving ability it’s then onto our final step, the Rodin FZED.

STEP THREE.

THE RODIN FZED

Congratulations on successfully completing the driving training program, it’s now time to drive the FZED! Our preparation has already included your seat fitting and driver configuration and once ready we will run through the features of the FZED including start and stop procedures. From here it’s time to hit the track and experience the Rodin FZED. Nothing Like It.

STEP FOUR.

DRIVER ANALYSIS

With FZED laps now under your belt, our driving instructor will discuss the driver data and provide valuable feedback to improve your driving ability where possible to help you get the most out of your Rodin FZED.

The FZED has been driven at our on site test tracks by drivers with a wide range of experience. From motoring journalists to a 15-year-old junior driver and a current F1 Reserve driver, each one has taken complete enjoyment from the experience of driving a brand-new F1-style car comfortably within their limits. PRIVATE OWNERS LOUNGE

Once on site Rodin Cars customers have the use of their own air-conditioned private lounge adjoining the Pit Garage, which features a fully functioning kitchen, driver changing rooms and first-class shower and bathroom facilities.

From car transfers and accommodation to fully catered food in the Pit Garage Lounge we ensure the whole driving experience is unsurpassed and a totally unique Rodin experience.
